I started the Gear Closet to be able to use my lifelong experience within snowboarding, and all the infinite connections that go with it, to outfit people who are NEW to snowboarding and can't foot the bill to be able to buy all the necessary gear to be able to participate. I take donations from the (very generous) community, and I turn around and gift it to someone in need, at no cost to them. If products require shipping to get them in your hands, you (The Beneficiary) are responsible for shipping and handling fees that we work out when the need arises. So far, the Gear Closet has helped to outfit over thirty people!
